Extracting all moisture from less desirable, unusable wood makes all of our stabilized wood duck and goose calls unique works of art. Using a heat and pressure method, the wood is soaked in acrylic resin. Dyes are often placed in the resin to accent the grain of the wood, or burl of the wood. Once the wood has been treated it doesn’t react like normal wood, in thee sense that it will not swell or take on moisture.
